GNA is an inclusive, supportive community who simply love being together, in our birthday suits, in nature. GNA aims to spread the word about the normalcy of the human body through acceptance, awareness and friendship, aiming to change the way society shames and shuns the naked form.
When I first joined the group I didnโt know a soul, its not the sort of thing any friends would do with me! But I wasnโt going to let that stop me, so in January 2021 I attended my first event, a whole weekend retreat in Wisemans Ferry, near Sydney. Solo. Taking my clothes off that first time was one of the scariest things I have ever done, not gonna lie, but it was also one of the most rewarding. As soon as everyone walked through the door, the clothes came off, the wine came on and we were nattering like old friends. I havenโt looked back since.
